My obedience instructor recommended this stuff called Vets Choice De-Matting lotion. Its not really a lotion. Its in a jar and is sort of like a balm conditioner. You put it between your fingers and massage into the matt, then use a matt breaker rake and gently work out the matt. It worked like magic! I might add it took over and hour to get out but I was able to get the entire matt out from under his chin and the two on his face and he looks beautiful again! There is a website but the product doesn't seem to be sold everywhere. If there is a location within your zip code that carries it, I recommend it highly! |

Couldn't fine the cream in our area, but did run across an interesting article on removing mats:

Can you give me any more info? I looked for it,
and I found a website, but I don't see the product at all. I searched the name you gave, but I'm not finding anything. I'd really like to try it. Even if I have to order it. Shellie |

I have tried Cowboy Magic and did not have very good results with it. |
Sheepieboss, That was a good article you posted thanks |
I think you may have to call the number on the website to order or put your zip code in for a location to purchase. I didn't see it on the site either but I know the stuff exists because I ahve it in my hot little hands at home! There is also a detangler but I didn't try that. I have the Matt-out. If you call, that's the name of it. Matt-Out. |
