Is it more than normal? Is it possible you are just noticing it more today?
I doubt she is too hot because of temperatures, but maybe she needs more water? Is she spayed? (I don't remember how old she is) If you are concerned it is worth a trip to the vet.... but I can't think of anything offhand....sorry.... |
Lucy will be 2 in January. She pants contantly 24/7. It has been going on for as long as we have had her (1yr). It thought it was due to heat. We are in North Carolina and it is hot and ver humid. But now that it has been record cold I am now worried. Maybe I just worry too much?! |
If she seems healthy in all other areas, maybe that is just her, some dogs do pant more than others. My first oes panted all the time too, but she was fine. Maybe just mention it to the vet next time you're in? |
Let her drink some more and see if that helps. With sheepies, as well as all other dogs, little before bed, but otherwise, let 'em lap! |
