I'm so excited that we'll be able to attend again this year!    
We had the best time and met several people from this forum. Also rescue people and some familiar faces from dog shows. Great to put faces and names together. 
Hope to see even more people there this year.  It's definitely worth the trip to Winston-Salem, NC.

Really? I thought it was front & center on the home page. I'll have to check that out. 
We'll start eating between 12:30 - 1:00, but you're welcome to come early and stay as late as you'd like. I look forward to seeing y'all there!! |

Unfortunately my boss let me know today that I will have to work this weekend in Aberdeen.  I am so sad. DH said that Hanna was coming through this weekend and there was going to be lots of rain. Do we have a rain date yet? |
| We're playing it by ear, but for now, we are still on for Saturday. The latest forecast shows Hannah passing through on Friday. So, we're crossing our fingers that we'll be okay. We will make an announcement on Friday morning, though, to let everyone know one way or the other. I believe our rain date is Sunday, September 7th, which looks like the weather should be perfect. I'll keep you posted. Hope you can make it!! |
| Due to the impending impact of Tropical Storm Hannah on the Carolinas, Tarheel Old English Sheepdog Rescue's 4th Annual Picnic has been postponed to Sunday, September 7th.
We sincerely hope you can all still join us!! (and stay dry!!)  |

Getting ready to go to sleep but, we are geared up for TOES picnic!!!!!! If anybody is close...come on out! You can meet the baby boy Finn and eat some good food! See lots of sheepies..Belinda and Pete have a nice sheepie setup and I think in that southern manner they welcome all! Love to see you all!!!!!! Of course Tammy will be there with her two babies! COME PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!! |

The scenery is whipping by and I see the passenger side-mirror so I know it was taken from the front seat. Please tell me that Quin had the camera... or was at the wheel!

We were unable to attend due to the storm and the change of date. We left Myrtle Beach a day earlier than planned. I'm so disappointed! This morning I find out that there were t-shirts with a picture of Nelson's butt on them and they were completely sold out. 
Can someone at least post a photo of the shirt for us??? On a brighter note, I was able to visit Donner's Mom (Kathy) and meet that cute little Finn so at least I got my "sheepie fix" there! |

| Never fear, Nita, we are going to reprint more tee-shirts. So, I'll be sure you get one. They are really cute, though, and yes, we did use a photo of Nelson's fabulously adorable butt as the model for the artwork.
I'll take a picture of mine and up load it so you can see.
Sorry you missed the picnic. We had a lot of folks that weren't able to make it due to the rescheduling, unfortunately. And, wouldn't you know, at the last minute, Hannah decided not to crash our party after all and we ended up having great weather in our area both days. Figures. 
But, for those who were able to come, we had a great time. Thanks to everyone who came out and joined us. As always, it's a blast. The wigglebums enjoy seeing all their sheepie friends and always go home exhausted. It's a good time for everyone! |
