Sorry for such late notice, but if no foster is found by noon, she will be PTS-not trying to scare or sadden anyone, but just to relay this is VERY URGENT. |
|
If you cant find anyone ....my daughter agreed to take her until a rescue can find her a home>>>> will this help keep this old sweety from being PTS????? PLEASE????? |
Oh awesome Val - I sure hope it works out. Please let us know. |
WE just have to keep this girl alive!!!! I have not heard yet...am on pins and needles!!!! If someone else can take her and is more knowlegable that will be great!!! |
This dog will be going to Kansas City today to be fostered by the rescue people there. She will be in great hands with Carol.
Thanks to everyone for their offers and help. |
WHEW!!!
Thanks for the post Judi....I am sure everyone appreciates the update and THANKS Carol...!!!!! You do such a great job!!!!! |
Thanks Val and Judi. You guys are the best! |
I'm glad this worked out so well, but seriously? WHO lives with a dog for 14 years. talks about how great she is, and in the same conversation says "we're putting her to sleep"?
What is WRONG with people?!? Isn't taking your dog to the pound or making a handful of phone calls to local rescue, better than a death sentence? Maybe there's an aspect to the story that I am unaware of; but if not, it sounds so unreasonable! |
DarthSnuggle, you are not alone. For the life of me, I can't figure this out either. She's 14 and full of life and spunk, but I'm putting her to sleep today. WHAT?????!!!!!
Some people really suck. Laurie and Oscar |
What I would have given or sacrificed to keep my Girl for 14 years. I posted someplace else today but I lost my girl less than a week ago she was 11.5 years young. She had surgery to remove two tumors that were benign and through complications which I still don’t understand she developed pneumonia and we lost her.
How can you even consider this- 14 years of loyal friendship. Like someone else said there are always options. |

I don't know the story here but I agree with Kerry - I'm sure there must be very unusual circumstances for this to come about. Very sad situation but I am so grateful to the wonderful folks who will make sure she's well loved. |
I don't know the entire story either, but let's just all be glad that we have great people in OES rescue groups that care enough to take on a 14 YO girl. These people are truely inspiring. |
