Summer Activities with the St. Louis OES Club
On July 11 we participated in the Bastille Days in Soulard (our French Quarter). They had a drum parade that followed Marie Antoinette and King Louis as they headed to the guillotine - where they held a mock beheading. Then we partied at the bar - we had to take cover under the bar canopy for an hour for rain - but we still had a good time and the dogs were great. Here is a picture of Harry and Heart dressed as French Peasants. He is wearing the "bonnet rouge" a revolutionary cap and she is wearing a peasant cap:

They all did great and had a lot of fun. Here are some of the swimming sheepies from left to right - Jake, Harry, Addie and Chandi:

| Oh how fun! Wish we lived closer. The Chicago club only has a fall event. Hmm..maybe I should start something. Wonder if I can find a dog swimming thing. |
