I agree with everyone else! 2004 was a toughie! Happy New Year to all and may 2005 bring us all much peace and joy!

I hope everyone had a safe New Year's Eve!
I spent mine at home, not really in the mood to party at 35 weeks pregnant. I didn't even think I'd be able to stay up until midnight. But I did.
Hope everyone has a Happy and Healthy New Year!

Elissa
I hope everyone has a wonderful 2005! Happy New Year! :)

Well, I know that a lot of [people have suffered loss during the year, and some very recently, and I'm very sorry for that and I offer my sympathy. I too have had a few rough spots here and there, but prefer to dwell on the positive. In lots of ways, 2004 was a great year!

Nobody in my family, either upright or furry, passed away.

My Dad has done well with his newly repaired heart valve.

The RedSox won the World Series.

    The Patriots won the SuperBowl.

The forum has blossomed into something quite nice, and we've met many new friends along the way.

NEOESR Rescue is doing quite well in its operations and is doing well financially.

    How 'bout them RedSox?

We have been blessed to be custodian for 2 sheepdogs during this year... just for a few days at the beginning as we turned over a foster dog to his new owners, and now with Mulligan, a foster who decided that we were a pretty good family woth which to stay.

I have food on my table, a roof over my head and shoes on my feet. Sometimes I wear other clothing.

Did I mention the Red Sox? ;)
Excellent points Ron! :)
2004 was pretty good for me too, two baby sheepies came into my life and brought so much happiness and laughter and love. And, this forum became a daily part of my life... and the great people who share it. :)
And we have a new house! :)
2005 is a year in which I hope to see more dreams come true. I hope to add a male sheepie puppy to our family sometime this year! :) I just don't know yet, who, or where he is.
I like the way you think, Ron! We can always find something to complain about, but when you stand back and look at things objectively, you find you truly have a lot to be thankful for. Our basic necessities are met, and this forum have proved to be a wonderful place to meet new friends and talk about our favorite subjects - our sheepies!

My hope is that the weather in 2005 treats our planet kindly. No hurricanes, no blizzards, no wild fires, no floods, no tsunamis. And I pray that our government leaders around the world look into their souls and stop this war in Iraq and bring our troops home safely. May that higher power in the sky, no matter which form he takes for you, keep us safe.

Happy New Year, one and all!

Chris
I woul;d also like to wish everyone a joy filled new year. as for 2004- Hey- it's the year I got married. Can you ask for anything better than that?

Karen :)
Karen,

That is very exciting! But just wait until Christmas of 2005 and you can say I have been blissfully married for one year.....what can get better than that? OR until you get a sheepie, and you can say I got a sheepie this year, what could get better than that. LOL
I am glad to hear that we have all made it through, some of us had a harder time of it than others, but we are all here and have yet another chance to get this new year right, or as close as we can.

Happy New Year from South Of The Border!

Our best wishes to every one, may this 2005 be as good as 2004 was for us.
