Oh, no!
How long has she been sick? Any idea what brought it on? to Summer and family. |
got through the night I didnt sleep a wink! She vomited about 9.45 mostly her digested dinner. Very pacing until about 11 when i took her out the garden and she had severe "d". She drank some water in the night but I picked her bowl up so she didnt have too much. She is just looking for food but I am starving her. She is due for her 12 month check up so I might get her in this afternoon but definitely leave her booster for a week or so. |
So sorry to hear Summer is not feeling well.
Please give us an update after her appointment. You both must be so tired from being up over night. Hopefully you can both catch up on your sleep today. |

Sue,
I am so sorry to hear about Summer being sick again. Sending lots of prayers and well wishes. |
She is much better. We went to vets and they examined her, temp. was Ok, they think she probably picked something up (she does it all the while) so she had an antibiotic injection, and has some kaolin tablets. She has just scrunched them up. Not to feed her until tomorrow but she has just had a little bit of kibble hand fed. So hopefully it was just a normal tum upset....thanks |
Glad she's feeling better and it wasn't too serious! Phew, eh? I have the same thing with Fitzwilliam - he was seriously ill in April and now it's very scary whenever he gets sick, just knowing how bad it can get. Hopefully Summer will be all better, 100%, by tomorrow. |
Oh!!! So glad Summer is feeling better sue! Sorry I just saw yr post!!

Hope Summer is doing better!
Poor baby and mom! |
I hope that Summer is OK now? Do let us know so I can uncross my fingers!! |
I think you can uncross them now thanks. It is raining here and she wont go out the garden! She can hold her wee for England. She did a lake in the vets yesterday when vet was feeling her tummy! They had to put loads of paper down it was sort of washing over the floor
She likes those tablets and you can buy them off the internet called Canikur, if you google them they tell you what they are for. I look like c..p, lost a whole nights sleep, upset my colitis, and made me chew all my nails off.... |
What had she eaten? any ideas what may have caused this bout?
At least she sounds on the mend. You hadn't wormed her recently I take it? |
oh no! I just read Summer was sick again, and after the last time, I was worried. But I went on to read that she's pulled through, and feeling more like herself, and that it doesn't appear to be the same illness.
YAY! Tonks and Luna have had diarrhea more than normal poop, ever since I got them. Often it goes on long enough for it to become bloody. And it seems the MINUTE I take them to the vet for it, the poop firms up. I think they just like visiting the vet. I don't rush them in anymore; it happens pretty often. But I always worry "what if this time its different?". I've change thier food several times, and have finally found something that is giving me better than usual poop-results. Did Summer maybe eat something other than her usual fare? |
We think Summer might have eaten something when we are out. She is awful like a hoover. The vet suggested a loose muzzle! to stop her picking things up. |
