Could he have been scratched by a cat or something? Walked into a branch outside? I would just keep it clean until you get him to the vets.
thanks for reply no cats here i but his hair in abobblelast week and he was trying to get in out so am wondering if he has catched his eye ,do others on here cut near there eyes so they can see or just tie up i would love to show him so dont know if cuting his fur is ok any advice
I don't think you can cut their fur if they are being shown. Carl would be more apt to give you advice in that area!

Sydney and Presley try to take theirs out as well. :( Unless he's having difficulties with his hair in his face - then I would say let it be.

Regarding the eye - he may have just irritated it and they may need to order some cream for him. Do you see any problems with the eyeball itself ?? (scratched, irritated, etc.) or is it just the outside ??
Sorry to hear about your pup's eye.

When Abby's in a full coat I use a pair of thinning scissors. I thin it out just a little. It usually makes a big difference.

I hope your baby's eye gets better soon. Keep us posted.
the eyeball its self is very red but around the eye looks sore aswell he is always walking in to stuff as well (typical oes ) so could of banged it hopeful vets open tomorrow it does look sore
Is the vet not open today?

Hi
My Cassie had pink eye..conjunctivitus...several months ago...same symptoms you describe! Vet perscribed RX eyedrops twice day for 2 weeks 8O Her symptoms began after a trip to the groomer...vet bets it was something Cassie picked up there...needless to say we will not be returning to that shop :( My advice is a visit to your vet...if it's pink eye... it can get serious if it goes untreated! Good luck...Poor pupper!
thanks for advise will let you know how we get on
