Our vet tests does a food allergy panel and an environment panel. For the results we received the food panel tests for various meats (protiens), grains, and some vegtables. The environmental panel tests grasses, weeds, trees, fungi, epidermals, dust, indoor things like cotton, wool, smoke, ect.
We had both done for Miley and I was glad we did. We are always having issues with her bowl (too loose or too firm). I can't say for certain that it was all due to her food allergies, but now I know what to buy - so we can rule some things out. |
could you tell me what it cost for the panals |
I don't think it's food related because I have fed him a variety of things and after switches.. he's still itching. Granted this is his first summer, the itching is a new thing... he was completely itch free in the fall and winter.. spring too for the most part.. it started late spring, so I am pretty sure it's airborne.
I'm sorry I don't know the price, but I am going to call my vet tomorrow and find out.. I'll let you know how much my vet charges.. your vet would probably charge around the same amount. |
