My oes had just recently started to become aggressive whilst grooming her. she gives you no warnings just goes for the hand especially if your doing the front legs or if i have to keep putting her on her side and she wants to stand or sit she'll go for me then. Anyone else had or has this problem, how can I get over it other than muzzling. Val |

Hi Val,
how "funny", i got the same the problems with Charlie! she tries to bite me and Max, me when I'm grooming her, especially when I touch/lift her feet and underneath her belly! ... and when she gets fed up with grooming she starts barking, moaning and even jumping about so that the H-bar falls off! Not good for her and not good for me too! .... and she goes on Max when they relax on the sofa or on the floor! I do think we have to give her more lines how far she can go, just dont know yet how! Sounds like a little child to try to do what she wants and when she wants!! |
Hi Monika,
a response at last I was beginning to wonder that i was the only person wit this problem. It was hot day so perhaps she was getting bored with it but that doesn't give her the right to have a go. This week i have started to ignore her a lot more than usual, i feel that she may be thinking she's more important than a dog like toy say what a child does. other than the grooming she's not aggressive at all, just the opposite.
