If you hit profile after you "attempt" to add an avatar, it will show you if your picture is up. You will see it displayed at the bottom of your profile.
Have you right clicked on your picture to make sure it has the right dimensions? - right click over the picture - hit image properties It should read a number AT or BELOW 150 X 150 pixels where it says "dimension." Sometimes that's the problem. I know I had to crop my picture several times before I could get it below 150 pixels. Then when I re-saved my picture, I had to "compress" it a bit so it wasn't a big file. |
I thought I did everything right. Obviously, I didn't! I got it way below 150x150 pixels but evidently I still did something wrong. Maybe I'll have one of the computer gurus at work help me..... |
Or just ask Ron - he's a whiz! |
If the display size is less than 150x150 and the filesize is under the limit, then the only thing that I can think of is that you didn't click on "submit" on the profile page after your located the file for upload.
I've done that once or twice myself. If you give up, you can send the file to me and I can attach it to your profile... but wouldn't you rather figure it out? Ok, maybe not... your choice! I'd be glad to help. |
