I'm no expert but they look nice & snug to me! Well done Bingley!
Those are some "excellent" looking hips!!! :D

It's always a great feeling once those hips come back clear, and an even better feeling when they come back with the highest score.

I have always only had the hips cleared through our Canadian registry, OVC. I was told the hips must be the equivelant of an OFA "Good" to pass. Since I like the fact that OFA gives an actual grading, I had my last bitch certified through OFA, and her hips came back Excellent as well. I have decided to certify with OFA from now on, because I really also like the fact that hip scores are published online.
Congrats!!! What great news about Bingley!
Nice leg muscle development too old boy. Found the bobbed tail a bit disconcerting...........never looked at it from the inside.
those are some fine looking hips!!!!
Congrats!
Wow Emily that is great! :go: :high5: :go:

Good hips go beyond showing and breeding it is the health of your dog and its quality of life. I know first hand since I had a dog with severe hip dysplasia. Even though Harry is fixed I had him tested anyway and his hips were rated as good.
Thanks everyone - it's crazy but I am sooo thrilled about this - the quality of life thing is what really makes me happy. I guess the 6 months we carried him up and down the stairs were worth it . . .
Beautiful!
He ought to do good in agility.
I'm sure Grandma is just as proud of Bing as you area. She breeds quality pups!!!
Congratulations guys!!! Welcome to the excellent hips club!!!
:yay: YAY Always great to get the results and all is "Excellant"!!! :sidestep: Your real "HIP" now Bingley and can do the Hipey Hipey Shake

Great looking hips Bingley
congrats thats excellent news.
Great news Emily! Congrats to Edy too for producing such a healthy boy! :D
Nice hips!! :cheer:

Bet he is wiggling right now!

Congratulations!
That's awesome. They really don't look like they could be any better. He should be a Super Terrific Excellent!
That is not the "bobbed tail" you are seeing, uhhh , rather his boy thing

Don't forget the adrenaline when you are waiting to see the x-ray, before it is submitted.

stairs will not effect his hip structure - but can aggravate poorly structured hips. my girl is OFA excellant and ran up and down the stairs from day one - often more than once at a time - she thought it a great game. my boy was carried for weeks. he has bad hips.
Congrats, Emily & Edy! It's great news for Bingley!! :D
Kerry you are correct, if a dog does not have the gene for hd it can do whatever without affecting hips, but you don't know until you x-ray, therefore I advise my puppy people not to let the puppy run up stairs all day long etc.
With doing this you might be able to prevent worse , i.e fair to good, borderline to fair.

What fantastic news! Congratulations! Having just lost our girl with severe hip dyplasia, I can tell you it is NO fun to live through, either for us or the dog.

And think of the 6 months of carrying him up/down the stairs as practice for carrying the baby!!
cingratulations Bingley :D

When Tim did Suzi's he came out of the back with this super serious look on his face. I thought the worst! Then he said, "Well isn't anybody going to ask what they are? Because they look perfect and I thought you'd be excited!" Geesh! Talk about making a situation more tense!
LOL I was thrilled to hear your voice when you thought they were great, Edy - it made my day! And then getting the report was just confirmation!! You did a fantastic job breeding!!!!!!!
