I need to take it EASY...no lifting, turning or anything for the next week(he didn't say anything about breathing). That also means off of work and that made my boss really happy . Her and I are like oil and water. I don't do inactivity real well and I need some ideas that I can do without activity. I'm already getting bored!!! I still go to the dog park for about an hour but make dh come along to do the walking part. |

OH WOW.... take it easy.
I am slightly jealous. I would love someone to force me to take some time off work.... I need a vacation. |
Reading, watching tv, cooking, eating (particularly eating), crafts, grooming the boys. Catch up on your sleeping. Lots to do!!!! But sorry you have to go through this. |

I am slightly jealous. I would love someone to force me to take some time off work.... I need a vacation. If I am home and healthy I have lots of "fun" stuff to do....cleaning the house, doing wash, cutting the grass etc. I'm not supposed to do this for the next week. |
Now's the time to read all those books you always wanted to read; plan your next vacation; think about the next project or home improvement you wish you had the money for; sit on the porch or patio and watch what all the neighbors are doing. |
Get out that stack of books you've been wanting to read, sit back, relax with a glass of tea and get started reading! I'd be in hog heaven, Pam.
Nah, seriously, I know how NOT FUN it is to be laid up. When I was recouping from surgery last summer and wasn't supposed to do anything, all I could do was sit around and look at all the stuff that needed to be done that was piling up. It drove me nuts. It was about as far from relaxing as you could get. So, I totally understand where you're coming from. |
