Dolly ages 7 months
 My sweetest little girl Dollypast away this morning after suffering 8 fits in the night, there was nothing that could be done for her
I loved Dolly from the very first moment I saw her until the very end

| Take your time to grieve and be sad; there's nothing wrong with that. Deep grieving usually lasts about 1 full week, then a lower level of grieving about 1 month, then lower still for about the remainder of the year.
I understand your grief; many times I saw something out of the corner of my eye and thought it was our Jake, which caused another round of crying. Just know that every day your pain lessens just a little bit and it gets a little bit easier to go on. And you can always come here for a hug. |

Try concentrating on giving the extra love and attention that would've been given to Dolly to your other dog. I'm sure he/she also misses Dolly and her playfulness. Maybe you can find comfort in one another. Just remember, she's in a much better place now. God only knows how many Sheepies she's romping and stomping with. |

| Thank you so much for all your kindness and words of support. It is amazing how resiliant the rest of my family have been Knowone mentions Dolly except my 6 year old twins. I think my family think its too upsetting for me
I miss her dreadfully the pain dosent get any easier, infact its worse, I see her everywhere I go, her little ways I miss sooo much; like in the mornings when breakfast is on the go, Dolly was always first in the queue for her toast. The way she would sit beside me in the car and watch the world go by, the way she never left my side on her walks even thou the Sheps would be running aroundwaiting for her to follow .The way she would sleep beside my bed with all fourteddy-bear legs up in the air.The way she would tilt her head and stare into the very soul of my eyes and I to her, yes she was deaf but she spoke with her eyes and we understood one another completely
I will love and miss her all my life

Mumxxxxxx Dollysmum, They are always in our hearts and we always miss them no matter what happens or how long they have been awaiting us at the Rainbow Bridge. It is almost 20 years since I had to help my beloved Punk to the Rainbow Bridge and there is rarely a day I don't think of him. But, fortunately, when I do think of him it is the good times we had and the joys he brought to my life that brighten my day. Rarely do his last days and sicknesses invade my thoughts and reminiscences. I truly and deeply cherish his memories and look forward to one day seeing my big and first son again. But we now have a new generation with whom we are building memories and joys. They don't take Punk's place, that couldn't be done even if we wanted and tried to do that. But they do so add to our lives as each is so very precious and unique. While your loss was perhaps more acute because of Dolly being so young when she was called back to God, I hope you are able to focus on the good times and joys she brought into your life. Hopefully you will one day look towards another Bobtail on who you can lavish your love and who will return that love so immeasurably more. Love which can help to revitalize your life, love which is in part a living tribute to your Dolly. Take best care and here's to precious memories and new joys.
