Looking for a GOOD Web Cam
My first grandchild is due in about 6 weeks and I want to buy a really good web cam so I can see the baby as it grows. We came up with the idea because my DIL's baby shower is in a few weeks and I can't get ambulance coverage to attend (they live 350 miles away). Doug suggested a web cam and I got thinking that would be really great to send them one and to be able to see the baby DAILY!! In looking on the internet there is such a wide range from $9.99 to lots of money. I want a GOOD web Cam with good resolution. Any recommendations? |

I LOVE the isight. All mac products rocks!  Whatever you do, do not buy a quickcam!! They tend to lag and get all pixelated. |
| Another good way...my daughter uses a free blog site and uploads pictures everyday of my 2 mth. old grandaughter...not only do I enjoy them but I can save them and print and everyone else in the family checks in once a day as well. My fatherinlaw who is 86 lives to see the latest photo or read the latest happenings. She loves it as she doesn't email much anymore...last week her memory board broke and we all can't wait for her to get back online...I was used to seeing something new everyday. It's like withdrawal this week and I keep calling her...I don't like the way my dell webcam makes everyone looks...very hard to make them look right. She can take videos and put up on her blog as well but she hasn't figured out how to upload them from the video camera. She has done short ones on the digital camera and we love them but there's no sound. |
