Suzi is on her second day after being rescued...1st day was unsettling for me as my past sheepies weren't as big and needy for attention plus when I thought she was trying to get Rosie to play she was going to bite her and then she wouldn't go down in the yard on the leash or off...husband to the rescue...he wasn't home 5 minutes and Suzi was down in the yard, did her "stuff", rolled in the grass and chased Rosie for 30 minutes! Just wasn't used to how rough sheepies play as Daisey had never romped like that! Today is great! She's down in the meadow playing, walking and scoping it out...she has finally left my feet and lays down by herself and Rosie has seemed to adjusted better. She is such a sweetheart and is soooo loving! So much love...life is wonderful! [/img] |

Zoe is a beauty!! What sweet cheeks.
I'm happy to hear that Suzi is settling in now. I am sure she & Rosie will end up being best of friends. She does need a lot of attention right now. But, once she feels safe and comfortable with you, she'll come into her own and settle down more. It will take a month or so before you see her "real" personality. That's pretty much true for all rescue dogs, though. She's a very sweet and submissive girl and I feel sure all will be well. Congratulations and thank you for giving Suzi the loving home she deserves. |
Double congrats to your family!!
Your little granddaughter is beautiful. Suzi is a cutie too - and hang in there, she needs to learn your family and routine. |
