Coulson has passed
 I posted a message last week about my Coulson who had really weak back legs and was eventually diagnosed with Addisons. He was holding his own this week and seemed to be somewhat improving but this morning his breathing was terribly laboured and while my husband was in the house phoning the emergency clinic and waiting for a call back my sweet adorable and ever faithful friend took his last breath in my arms.
We were in our garden under a tree and next to the fountain that he loved on hot days. I kept telling him he was still my beautiful baby boy while he valiantly tried to stay with us. The vet that took him for cremation felt that it really had to have been a massive tumour that was pushing on his lungs and heart. I think the other vets missed this last week. He would have been 10 next month. I'm not sure how to attach a picture or even if I'm in the right venue for this news. I just wanted to thank everyone again for all their kind words throughout his sickness and to impress on all of you to get a second opinion. The outcome would not have changed but maybe he would not have suffered as much. However, he passed on in his very favourite place. A huge hole is in our hearts today as we say adieu to our sweet companion. Hug your sheepie for me today. Regards, Irene |
