Won't drink outside

I have two dogs, OES and a Wheaten Terrier. They refuse to drink water outside. They are on a porch during the day and when I come home at lunch or after work they enter the house like they've been stranded in a desert. I give them fresh water every 4 hours. I thought maybe it was the bowl, so I took the one from inside the house and used it outside and nope, that didn't work either.

Any help would be appreciated.

is the bowl in the sun or shade? maybe the water is hot or the bowl is hot....we have a metal bowl for outside...and panda wont drink out of it in the am when the sun is hitting it.....also try filling it with ice water...maybe they just like super cold water...

All the dogs I have had just love clean cold water straight from the tap. Try putting the bowl in the shade or just have a little talk to them about needing water when they are outside! :roll:
