Oh bless, sheepies dont make a fuss do they? If that had been my yorkie the whole world would have known about it... |
poor laci loo....so much for the saying "thorn in your side" |
I was just wondering if you might want to call the vet to see if they might recommend a course of antibiotics? I would be afraid of an abcess due to the depth of the wound and I understand that palm thorns can be very dirty and cause some serious infections. Just as a precaution, I would hate to see it fester up again and then have to take her in for a more serious infection.... just a thought.
I'm amazed at the length of that darn thorn, that would scare me to see that come out, and I would be glad that it was that, rather than what you thought it might have been (C word). Good luck! L |
How lucky you found it before it got infected. Best wishes for speedy healing. |
Poor baby. Can't imagine how much that hurt! Good mama for being on the ball. Keep a close eye on it and call the Vet if anything changes. |
Oh bless....our last oes Katy was licking her back paw, I bathed it but she didnt like you touching her foot. When she was really ill, the vet shaved her foot and said she must have got a thorn in there, and removed it herself! |
Aww poor Lacey, Glad she is on the mend |
