One of the things I miss is when we lived outside of Detroit, they always mixed the Fourth of July with Canadian Day and had great festivals for about a week. For those who don't know, Windsor, Ontario Canada and Detroit Michigan USA are a stone throw from each other across the Detroit River. You can stand in Detroit and see Canada with no effort. |
