Ewww!!!! |
No. But it's supposed to be great stuff. Might need a nose plug, though. For you, not the dogs...

I have fed tripe but not green tripe. Sorry. |
We have three sheepies and they get fed green tripe twice a week, all of our dogs as long as I can remember have been fed this and it is good for the digestive system and they love it. In summer we leave it in one piece and they are let into the garden to use their teeth on it and in winter we get it shreeded and feed it in the house, I highly recommend it. Start of gradually as they must adjust to the tripe |
There was an article on green tripe in Whole Dog Journal with places to get it. I think they are doing a show on "Dirtiest Jobs" showing how the tripe is processed and shipped. Let me know if you need the sources. The article did say over and over that it was very stinky. |
you can also get it frozen from raw food suppliers like OMA's and Bravo. Don't know if freezing helps with the smell though. it should also put weight on your girl - that was one of the things recommended to put weight on Marley. I didn't try it though because she is soo picky. |
I read it, too and thought, "wow, what a god thing for the dogs," but I'm not sure I can stomach it. |
