Those of you who believe Lambrier is Good THINK AGAIN

I'm so sorry for the dogs stuck in puppy mills. I'd like to see any one of you live your life in a puppy mill that says Lambrier is good.
Lambrier Kennels gets their pups from PUPPY MILLS. Some of you claim that Lambriar takes excellent care of their pups. Well, that's all well and good but your missing the point.
The problem is not with the pups and how they care for them. The pups are the lucky one cause they make it out of the PUPPY MILLS. If their lucky they don't end up with deadly diseases they contract from their mom and dad dogs.
The problem is the mommy and daddy dogs are living in the most deplorable conditions in PUPPY MILLS for their entire lives breeding every single heat cycle, never being let out of a wire cage, stuck in dark barns or stuck, out in the stresses of summer and winter without protection, until they can no longer produce and then their discarded like rubbish. Their kept in cages their entire lives. Some of them literally go mad or go into deep depressions or are so ill, they can barely move. They can barely move in some of the cages as it is. Imagine being so ill and being stuck in a wire cage without veterinary care.
Lambrier is a Puppy Broker that gets their puppies from PUPPY MILLS. What part don't those of you get that say Lambrier is good. They are making money off the the suffering of thousands of mother and father dogs. Every time they purchase puppies from these commercial breeders, PUPPY MILLS their contributing a unspeakably cruel inhumane existence of these poor mommy dogs and the daddys too. Lambrier does not care about those poor souls stuck in the mills! They care about their profit and that's all. If you believe anything but that, think again!
And those of you who say as long as your dog has AKC registration papers, it's all good. The only thing papers are good for is to train your dog on!!!!!!! Look up the sites on puppy mills. Their HOUSES OF HORROR..... Do the research on PUPPY MILLS. Or better yet, go sign up to live in one if you think their acceptable cause... :( STOP PUPPY MILLS. STOP BUYING PET STORE PUPS... ADOPT DON'T SHOP

AKC is just as guilty as the puppy millers themselves. They make millions off each and every poor soul produced in these mills.
The AKC is just as bad as LAMBRIER AND HUNTE Corp.... :(
AKC is known generally as "not for profit"??????? HELLO.... NOT SO...

AKC is the biggest contributor to PUPPY MILL DOGS being stuck right where 100's of 1000's of each and every one of them are right now. Living in horror.

Without pet stores that sell pups, puppy mills would not exist.
AKC would go broke if it weren't for pet stores.....

AKC is all about profit. Do the math.....
Hi, Sherry.

Though I don't necessarily agree with the AKC on a number of issues, the fact is that AKC regulations require that larger volume breeders , e.g. more typically commercial breeders be inspected in order to retain their right to register dogs with the AKC. This has driven many of them to register with other "registries" that have been created in the last few years solely to lend some sort of legitimacy to these breeders' operations. The net effect is that many of them no longer register their dogs with the AKC so they don't have to subject their facilities to inspection. I.e. the AKC is spending quite a bit of money policing these operations to the detriment of their registration fees. And they can and do suspend those privileges. Every month they publish the list of breeders - often high volume, usually with multiple breeds - who have been suspended and/or fined in the AKC Gazette.

AKC Inspections Fact Sheet

The AKC is the only purebred registry in the United States with an ongoing routine kennel inspection program. The AKC has a dedicated team of field inspectors who visit kennels to ensure the proper care and conditions of AKC-registered dogs and verify that breeders are maintaining accurate records for their dogs. In 2007, AKC field inspectors conducted approximately 5,600 inspections nationwide. The AKC dedicates nearly $6 million annually to its compliance programs to ensure the accuracy of its registry and the care and conditions of dogs raised by breeders of AKC dogs.

Investigations and Inspections
Routine AKC field inspections involve several steps. Inspectors begin by examining the dogs as well as the condition of their environment. Inspectors check to ensure all the dogs have proper identification. They review breeder records, which must be maintained for at least five years.
AKC inspects breeders who register seven or more litters per year. AKC also randomly selects some breeders who register between four and six litters a year for inspection.
In addition, AKC inspects breeders based on written, signed and substantiated complaints.
Inspectors enforce the AKC Care and Conditions policy to ensure that dogs have access to adequate food, water and shelter and that kennel space provided them is appropriately constructed and not overcrowded. If a dog appears to have a health issue, inspectors make sure it is being addressed.
Through kennel visits, inspectors seek to work with breeders to help correct any deficiencies, as well as help new breeders develop effective practices and procedures.
If an inspector finds minor deficiencies, the issues are noted and discussed with the breeder, and AKC expects the issues to be taken care of before the next inspection. While the AKC does not have penal or regulatory authority, breeders who have major kennel deficiencies may lose AKC privileges (ability to register dogs or compete in events). In some cases, fines will be imposed, AKC privileges may be suspended and appropriate law enforcement authorities contacted.

Does the bulk of their registration fees come from the high volume breeders? Sure it does. They certainly aren't collecting enough money from my piddly maybe one litter every 4-5 years to cover their administrative costs. But unlike some organizations, they do put money back into dogs with their health foundation, with their educational programs, with their disaster relief initatives and so on. So why would the AKC police the very people who are making this possible? You do the math.

And you might want to double check your own first. They don't "make millions off each and every poor soul produced in these mills". How is that even possible? I understand that puppy mills are an emotional topic - no one wants to see dogs suffer. But these issues can only be addressed thoughtfully and factually.
