Just wanna poll for some suggestion on how to dry an OES up the fastest way after bath. Typically, it took me 2+ hours to bath and dry him up. I guess the bottleneck is the drying part...It took the longest time. Basically, what i do is i first wipe the excess water off him using a beach towel. Then i use a handheld hairdryer with a slicker brush to dry and fluff him up at the same time. Just curious, how long does it take for you guys to bath+dry your OESs? Any comments welcome! |

I usually us a shami, like you dry your car with to dry Max, then I use a small shop vac on reverse to dry him. This way I get cold air. I found that a regular hair dryer tended to shut off before I got finished. I'm not sure if this is a recommended way but it does work. I still take about 1 hour to get him finished |

wow! just 1 hour? I must really try your recommendation... err... sorry to be asking the obvious if i am but what do you mean by "a small shop vac on reverse"? where can i get it? better still if you have any URL directing me to some info on this. Thanks! |
I bought mine at Sears. It's the smallest one they have (2 1/2 horse power). Sells for about $40 and it has a reverse on it so it blows instead of vacuunimg
