If Bogie's health seemed improved with a natural diet and you have time to do this, I would stick with that. Make sure you do include some fats though, and especially omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. There are plenty of websites on how to cook a natural diet for your dog to make sure you don't leave out essential nutrients, things like apples, pears, carrots, some grains, and enough meat to provide adequate protien, iron and other nutrients.
If the vet doesn't feel that diet is appropriate then give the new one a try but do it very slowly.... Good luck! |

Sold Gold has a supplement it is vitamins and minerals given by the weight of the dog they do not put the vitamins and minerals in their food they feel during the processing the vitamins and minerals lose some of their quality. You could add small amounts to see if your sheepie does not get an upset stomach from them. I hope things are better |
