[Cone of Silence descends from ceiling covering and connecting Max and Chief in lucite globes connected by a lucite tube. Agent 99 is standing outside the Cone of Silence] Chief: Now Max, here's what we need to do. Max: Hah? Chief: This is what we need to do. Max: Hah? 99 (outside of Cone of Silence): Max, Chief says that this is what we need to do. Max: Thank you, 99. Cracks me up talking about it with people more than it ever did seeing it! LOL The shoe phone was great, too! It wasn't a cell phone, it was a sole phone! I loved it when it rang like an old mechanical telephone (there weren't electronic "ringers" back then.) Where was the bell? And rotating the heel to reveal a rotary-dial phone? Classic! Max to villain on island: Right now there are 1,000 heavily armed paratroopers landing on the island. Villain: I see nothing on the radar. Max: OK. Would you believe 100 marines landing on the beach even as we speak? Villain: Our beach alarms are not sounding. Max: OK. Would you believe a troop of hungry boyscouts armed with penknives? Villain: Take them to the torture room! |
| I have to admit, I've never seen the show (but I know the premise) and I think the movie looks pretty good. The cast looks like they'll be great. I think Steve Carell will do a good job and I always seem to enjoy the Rock in the movies he's in. |

I have been humming that song for days! We're absolutely seeing it this weekend. And, keep in mind....we haven't seen a movie in a theater *not* made by Disney, Pixar or DreamWorks in about 12 years! Grown-up movies we wait for cable/DVD releases.  |

Yes I can see darcy in High society High spiffy elegant shoes and very classy with a built in shoe phone for yakking on with smothered in Diamontes or the real Diamonds. 
June the 26th is the release here of "GET SMART" I am so excited  YES I know small things amuse small minds  Now to complete the dream we NEED a re-make of "Hogans Heroes" )Shhhh I am only 21++++++++++++but have that warped sense of humour that enjoys shows like these.

| Are you an "old" Get Smart fan?
I've been thinking that perhaps fans of the old show might find it disappointing while new fans and Steve fans might like it more. So fess up! |
OK Ron I am fessing up, seen the re-make and the old series was way better, am I showing my age 
But then again, remakes are never the same as the originals. 
Take "The Time Machine" preferred the original there I am Legend was good, but the "Omega Man" was better I hear they are making a re-make of "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" wonder how that will be when that is released also. YEAH I Know getting older and more fussier with movies, even though I stay 21 +++++++++++++++++++++ |
