At least she's stopped sleeping on my coffe table Kristine |

She looks so happy up there. Our Ollie would have absolutely loved having one to play observer on!

He used to climb up on top of the stack of large round hay bales and keep watch over his domain! Sybil started out by using it to play Queen of the Mountain with Mace until Mace figured out how to get up there. I'll try to capture both of them some time. They're like bookends, except when one tries to push the other off - ah, sisterly love This was taken this morning after breakfast. Everyone else came in except butthead. I have on occasion had to lift her off and carry her back inside Yes, she is very happy, but she's not spending the day up there barking at dangerous blades of grass. I do have some neighbors... Kristine |
Be glad you don't have Maggie. She taught all the other dogs to LOOK UP and bark at every bird in every tree!
Good thing my nearest neighbors are not that near. And have two sons who rev their race cars a few times every week before race day. |

Reciprocol noise tolerance? Works for me! My neighbor mows his lawn every three days. The bad news is my dogs bark at him. The good news is he can't hear them over his suped up riding mower KB |
I think Sybil created a new component on the agility field or for effeciency she has combined obstacles: The Pause Walk! |

!!!!!!!!!!! Good one, Judi! And notice how nicely my automatic down is shaping up. I don't even need to be outside with her when she does it... KB |
Mad Dog wrote: Kristine She is just beautiful!! I can see Marley doing the same thing - although that may be why Dan won't let me put a dog walk up in the yard. Oh yeah to the list of things I need in a new house (if we ever do move) An agility yard where I can leave equipment up!!!! |

Yes that is on my list of things I would spend money on when I win the lottery. Actually, it is frighteningly near the top of the list. |
LOL Love the pic. My girl Sky loves to be on tables too. |

Its probably #2 04 #3 on my list right behind an RV so the dogs can travel in comfort and maybe a florida vacation home for us |
OK, look closely at the dogwalk one more time:
Now imagine am 8 week old OES puppy traversing that same walk. No, Sybil wasn't on it (for a change). And I was spotting the puppy, but she decided to do it on her own. Normally not something I'd encourage (read: let) a puppy to do (!!!) Stay tuned - she's a friend's performance prospect and she's staying with me for a few weeks. I have a feeling she will make her presence known on the forum. Her name is Mojo and she's Sybil's cousin. 'nuff said. Kristine |
Hey, where's the picture???
Lucky you! I can't wait until she comes home and I get to see her! |
You can't spot and take a picture at the same time. Or at least I can't. I'm working on teaching Sybil to use the camera as I don't trust her to spot Mo. Though they play very nicely together, Sybil is debating whether or not her nose should be just a little out of joint. I don't think I'm ready to trust her in the "splat!" department just yet....
There will be pictures. I don't know how good they'll be, but I'm sure Sybil will do her best... Kristine |

Book list? I must be incredibly dense these days. Must be the puppy whining to go out at 4:30 in the morning fogging up my brain. Despite whom she's related to and her M name , she's actually a very good puppy, just super-charged. She reminds me a lot of Mad in terms of attitude when she was her age. I'll try to get some pics of her exploits. Last night she got into a holding pattern and crossed the dogwalk another ten times. The funny thing is she seems to think you can only travel west to east...So she'll go across and then run all the way back to where she first got on and run back up the ramp again Of course, Mad's obsession was tunnels from day one. Sybil is the dogwalk freak. Mo and my little girls are having a blast playing together. It's hard to be quick enough to get pictures though!!! Kristine |
I call this "Snoozagility". Captured out my kitchen window yesterday morning, which is why it's taken through a screen.

how cute! |

Not if she decides this is the true purpose of the dogwalk and decides to try this while on course!!! KB |
Oh come on we both know she is too smart for that!
left unchallenged Marley will pause on the top of the frame and survey the area for attacking brigades. on courses though its up and over and never lift your nose up !!! |
Is that Sybil snoozing on the dog walk? I thought she had more black than that. |
SheepieMommy wrote: Is that Sybil snoozing on the dog walk? I thought she had more black than that.
Yes, it's the wench and she is more black on her offside. It certainly isn't Liz who would have rolled off by now [zzzzz --- thud!!!] KB |
Harry is jealous - he would love to have a dog walk in his backyard! |
Mad Dog wrote: kerry wrote: how cute! Not if she decides this is the true purpose of the dogwalk and decides to try this while on course!!! KB Maybe a side effect from teaching the automatic down on the table??? Just playing devil's advocate...... Very cute picture! |
I think it's the side effect from me banning her from the den so she can't sleep on the coffee table any more...
She just likes to sleep on perches. I used to find her brother asleep on my kitchen table. Occasionally with his Aunt Belle The down on the table is a dynamic as opposed to static down. You could say the dogwalk snooze falls into the latter category. Kristine |
