The only Elgin I know is right outside of Chicago. The natives will chime in soon, I hope. I don't remember hearing about an activity there now. I know some are heading out to the NEOESR activities coming up - this weekend? |
| If you mean Illinois, which I assume you do since your location is Elburn, the OFFICIAL Illinois picnic is SheepieFest! (name owned by Debcram). This year will be our 5th anniversary of SheepieFest! and we've always had it in October. Last year it was on a Saturday and the next day was Chicagoland OES's get-together. I'm waiting to hear if Chicagoland has picked a date because I'd like to piggyback again so out of towners can make it a sheepie weekend.
I'm in South Elgin, Amanda P. and her sister are in Elgin, Debcram is up north in Gurnee, Stacy is in the northwest burbs. There's a gal in Plato Center who hasn't posted in a while. Welcome to oes.org, the best place on the Internetz. Once the date has been set for SheepieFest!5, I'll make the announcement. |

Will be sure to tell them about Sheepiefest.
