Fairbancks of Snowboot Bears

This young man came to me at the beginning of February in a terrible state, we have spent time grooming him, building him up, getting his health in order and now he has achieved his first challenge certificate at a show in Germany. His coat still has to grow in length but that will come as time goes on, the picture below was taken at the show last Saturday.

Well done to you both and Zorro is looking awesome under your TLC.

Wishing Zorro heaps of success and his circumstances and start to where he has progressed too makes my heart melt. Thankyou stewart his story so far is so heart warming :D

Looking forward to hearing of Zorros Achievements as he advances in the showring. :D
Thanks to all of you for your best wishes, to build up this young boy was not so much hard work as he adapts very easily. He came to 18 weeks ago at 25 kgs (55 lbs) he was skin and bone with absolutly no substance at all, now he weighs 36 kgs (80 lbs) through good food and a lot of loving.

We feed our bunch Eukanuba and we have had very good expirience with this food, especially Zorro who has gained in weight and he is also becoming a super coat, he is a very happy boy although he thinks he is a lap dog which he bl**dy well is'nt at 80 lbs, he is a typical sheepie clumbsy, loving, a big clown and a thief when he gets the chance.

My next goal is to make him up to be a German Champion, I also plan to take him in September to Gibraltar and in March of next year to Scotland for the clubs championship show. After only two shows here in Germany he has qualified for the German clubs championship show which will take place in the coming February.

We still have a couple of hurdles to overcome, his eyes have to be tested and I have an appoinment for this next Thursday, we will get his hearing done a couple of weeks later and he also has to be evaluated by a judge before we can use him as a stud dog, this will be done a week on Sunday. If all goes well and we get everything completed on time I will use him on Misty, this will be outbreeding as their lines do not cross for at least five generations, they are both the type of sheepie I like and as both live with me I know their nature. I will be keeping my fingers crossed that it works out this time. :D
He is looking amazingly improved!! Congratulations on a job that is going so well - he'll continue to improve and improve!!
