| Mine does. They will scratch up some place in yard and lay down,and from others theres does the same. |
| I love your pictures. Bella has finally stopped eating stones, we were afraid that we were going to remove them from the yard. Her cool place is under the step going up to the patio where she lays up against the stone wall. |
| Both Oakley and Sydney do this. Oakley will even pout if you fill his hole in before he "thinks" he's done with it! |
| Both Cheyenne and Buford do this. Sophie hasnt started the digging part yet but she'll lay in one of their spots. I think its because the dirt is cooler underneath. |

| Must be getting warm over there. Yes, this is common behavior. It is partially for the cool soil, but also for the lounge chair effect...by making a depression and setting your butt in, your back and chest are supported better by the ground.
Each one of mine has their own "wallow" for digging and adjusting the angle of the dirt for proper support. Depends on the time of day which one they use.......and season. |
