She IS extremely huggable! Our club had a play date Saturday night and she was getting lots of petting from everyone. She always lets me hug and kiss her. She is a real sweetie pie. |

Heart sends a cutsy small woof back...... I thought that getting this cut would help with her matting..... NOT SO!!!!!!!! |
sheepieshake wrote: I thought that getting this cut would help with her matting..... NOT SO!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, at her age the trim needs to be shorter to stop those mats from forming. It should be better than long, but not maintainance free. |
that's why Morgan sports the very short cut - and as it grows I strip the undercoat. he is then basically maintenance free until its time for a new cut down. Luckily he looks like a sheepie Yul brenner - very manly without all the fur
Ms Marley on the other hand is growing back all the undercoat she blew when in season and that is becoming my nightly chore I have to go to Florida for a few days and am very afraid about what I am coming home to....... |

Yul Brenner - LOL How old is Marley? Chewie was 2 in April and when we were gone for a week out east last month he was a mess. I salvaged it, but it was hours and hours and hours of grooming. Thank goodness Chewie is very loving and tolerant. |
she'll be three in September. with the undercoat doubling by the day (if not hour) she is going through a rough patch coat wise. Luckily she loves to be groomed - its the one time in her life she really relaxes (as long as I don't touch the feet ) |
She looks fabulous! |
