Asian burgers 14 3/4 oz canned salmon 1/2 cup minced bell peppers 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs 1/2 cup sliced scallion 1 egg 1 Tbsp lime juice 1 Tbsp grated ginger Combine all ingredients, form into 4 patties. Panfry in oil 6 mins, or until brown. Serve on buns with sprouts, tomato and wasabi mayo. I altered it - instead of the scallions I just used a regular onion chopped - I will get the fresh green onions next time. I thought it was OK, but the milder taste would have made Todd happier! It was kind of crumbly on the bun, so I will add 2 eggs next time. I also made 6 patties instead of 4 - and the buns really were full. I used regular horseradish sauce in mayo instead of the wasabi - yum! Good one - we will be making it again. It was the 1st time I ever bought canned salmon - funky little can it comes in! |

Yum, yum, yum. I like the idea of substituting the wasabi too.
I might also use Panko instead of bread crumbs for that extra Asian atmosphere. |

Instead of pan frying like they all call for, I scoop 1/4C into greased muffin cupcake pan and bake at 350 for 30-40 min! |
