We got home around 3:30 and was tired so I fixed his bed and let him lay down. I took him back out around 10:00 and he was fine. When we came back in he threw up. He never throws up. About an hour later had messed on himself and it was half diarrhes. I changed his bed and gave him an immodium. At 11:00 I checked on him and he had full diarrhea. I'm taking him to the vet in the morning. I don't know what is going to happen. I don't know why he is getting sick. He hasn't eaten anything out of the ordinary and I know he hasn't gotten into anything. The poor thing looks so pitiful sometimes. I know I need to let him go but I just can't do it yet and I know I'm being selfish but I can't help it. I'm scared our Doctor is going to tell me it's time. I don't know what to do. |

I know you're scared, and I'm glad you are bringing Remo to the vet. I hope the vet can find a simple cause for Remo's immediate problems. |
Don't give up hope... he might just have a tummy bug that will be fixed up with an antibiotic. My Panda had this Memorial weekend and the on-call vet thought is was caused by stress... while we were there, she took another call about another dog with diarrhea. She said there were a lot of tummy upsets.
I hope Remo will be feeling better soon. |
Poor Remo, hopefully it is a tummy bug... could be different water? I really hope the vet will sort Remo out and you can post with some good news. Hugs to you...be brave for your dog! |
Did he drink any of the lake water? Could be bacterial. |
Ashley, I hope the vet discovers it's just a stomach virus sort of thing.
In any case, I have sent you two PMs in response to yours, please read them with my thoughts. |

my thoughts exactly. there are many water born issues - especially in the spring. don't forget to tell the vet that he was at the lake. |
