Really gross OES poop experience

I'm only posting this gross story because I think those of you with OES who get in the trash will appreciate this...

Saturday morning my OES got into the garbage and ate about 6 bacon grease-soaked paper towels. They finally made it through her system this evening....

We were out on our walk and she stopped to do her business, was partially succesfful, and then all of a sudden started frantically jumping around trying to get rid of the "tail" she had just produced. The paper towel had clumped together in her system to form what was at least a 2 foot-long, poopy strand and she could not get it out! I had to chase her down and pull it out the rest of the way....SO DISGUSTING....I can only imagine how silly we looked to any observers. I just shake my head at the antics I have had to deal with since becoming the loving owner of an OES.

Im so sorry but this really tickled me :D
Oliver really loves a dig around in the rubbish :x
But i can say ive never had to help anything on its way out 8O 8O

But hey he's only 3 so there's still time

OOhhh he did like to eat crayons
His poo's were the most amazing colours :) :) :)
You aren't supposed to pull things out of there on your own because you may do internal damage if it meets resistance inside. I know it's a bigger problem with cats since their intestines are smaller but if the obstruction gets caught on something internally, it could be disastrous.

That being said, yuck!
yeah, I thought about that, but it came out very easily with no resistance and was mostly out on its own....i just didn't want it swinging around anymore...it was pretty disgusting. That and my dog was terrified of it and was trying to bite it. By the way, I used the bag to protect my hand, in case you were wondering!
Eww! 8O
:clappurple: sorry for laughing but I thought it was funny :clappurple:
Similar situation here... involving Sky and a sock.
I am sorry but it made me chuckle :) I agree it is gross though. I had a cat who ate a string and I took her to the vet who said it would pass. About a week later I saw a foot long string hanging out, I did not pull on it, I just cut it off. Unfortunatly that was not all of it and we ended up rushing her into ER where she did not make it, that was about 2 weeks after the one hanging out.
Count me in, Tasker got into my daughters bathroom garbage one time. I didn't discover it til I was walking him, saw a string hanging out his butt, pulled it and out popped........

you guessed it, a tampon
Avalon used to love to eat plastic bags...and yes one day when she pooped 1/2 a plastic grocery bag was sticking out her butt....she was running around frantic like her butt was on fire! LOL thank goodness we were only in our yard.....so no one saw the rest of the plastic bag removal....ewwwww

Ginny, I have to say that your story by far is the most gross!
I think the tampon story gets the vote for most gross!!!

Nothing recently.....thankfully, but do remember a story from another OES forum where the sheepie ate something with glitter and had the prettiest poop for several days later!
When my old girl was young my wash cloths kept disappearing. One day I found them in the poopy area. She never touched a towel, just wash cloths. That is why there is a rule that all wash clothes have to be on the curtain rod to dry.
Whats really gross is when you have to pull the half out waste from your dogs you know what........
Been there and done that with tampons and my parent's cockapoo.... So GROSS!
Bella eats paper towels so they hang out sometimes during pooping...but nothing has stuck yet.

Nigel, however, ate $32.00 from my DH's wallet, and chewed up a AAA, Visa, and Amex card. I did dig through the waste so that there was enough of the $10.00 bill so that he could get it replaced. My dog eats money in every way possible. Before that he got some pennies. (my DH, yet again) He never chews my stuff. Hmmm, I wonder why?
