The realtors wanted my house to be listed last Monday but not shown for another 2 weeks. I would rather it be up to standard causing less stress for me if viewers come over. That or being able to purchase other home, move animals over and then sell this one. But that's another story. It's coming along, but I realized I needed to hire someone for a few hours to help me declutter my numerous overstuff cupboards. I get too distracted and go down memory lane. Nope not going to start sitting and glancing at stuff want to concentrate on the jobs that need to be done. Need someone with a keen eye that will just place everything in donate, junk or keep boxes. Anyhow someone answered my ad and ironically it's the same person who runs the doggy daycare. How ironic is that? The good thing is she won't mind numerous canines in the house throughout the day. In a nutshell, I think everyone needs to empty their house of contents , purge and then start all over again after 15 years of being a packrat..ha ha! : Still plan on proving you guys wrong and WILL get that other house no matter what it takes!!! Stay tuned! |

Can't wait to hear more......... |
lol....you need me to come over and help you purge???? im really good at it....i dont care if youve had that tee-shirt since the first grateful dead concert....if its not worn in a year, has rips in it, or is just plain ugly....OUT it goes!!!!!!!
(i did this for my best friend. she had a heart attack at the beginning, but now loves her nice, ORGANIZED closet!) |

I am a great one to say "throw it out". I can't take clutter...I can't function. lol So my advise to you is (cheerleader chant)"THROW IT OUT, THROW IT OUT, WAY OUT" And the crowds come to their feet...They've started "the Wave." Marianne is uncluttering her life and her mind. Just think Marianne, where you throw stuff out could be another space for a cage!!
Good luck with your project. |
I love de cluttering. We are doing a car boot tomorrow but I have to be really careful not to look round and buy stuff! |
you can do - it good luck on everything |
No way guys! She just can't do it. you know how she is. She has absolutely no motivation what so ever. All she ever does is sit on her haunches and do nothing.
How's that Marianne? |
A word of caution: I got rid of lots of stuff before I moved: (including plants to Marianne: are you keeping them???!) However, to my horror, I still need to get rid of stuff! But the garage and my family room are full of boxes waiting to be sorted. Sigh! A neverending story!!! |
WHERE does all this stuff come from anyway? My basement is pretty big and full of ????? (I don't know either). Some stuff hasn't been touched in 10 years |
I'm a hoarder, know where you are coming from, sometimes when I go through the cupboards I find something and it is like christmas all over again, OOOOOh did not know I had that Woo Hoo.
When we thought about moving and had the real estate agents in I felt sick thinking Cirkeys 20+ years of stuffed and jammed closets and cupboards. The first thing the realators said was de-clutter everything That put the fear factor in me, so if we did end up selling and did not change our minds I would of had to of had help in to make a start. I am hopeless, I keep everything that means something to me and complete junk to others Marianne we are keeping everything crossed for you, Go girl Go and get that dream place you want. Sending huge wishes your place sells and you get that other one. Psst we look forward to visiting you in your new place, we don't eat much |
