So picture the scene, 3 adults standing on the back doorstep, yorkie weeing under a bush, sheepie peering from between our legs saying, "on your bike I am not going out there!" So me, being the silliest, walked to the bottom of the garden in the pouring rain, hid behind the fence and called her! Hubby says "Quick Summer go and find Mum!" Summer without realising runs down the garden, Hubby and Son close the back door leaving just me and Summer in the rain (yorkie has gone in by now) Summer glares at me and then has the longest wee ever. Races up the garden, son lets her in, I very carefully walk round the mud, puddles and very soggy lawn. Son and Hubby saying "clever girl Summer well done Have a biscuit." I just stand there soaked to the skin! |

That's outrageous!!! I would have demanded to know where MY biscuit was!!! Kristine |
I can visualize the entire scene with that description! Ah, the sacrifices we make for our babies. |
I can so see it happening before my eyes! Poor you! I was out at 5.30am in a thunderstorm today with little sweetpea trying the same thing but I was only dressed in my pj's and dressing gown! |
Oh the things we do for the pups!! That's pretty hilarious. I agree with Kristine, though, I would've wanted my cookie, too!! |
Yep the same for me!!! at 5.30am this morning it was Pouring down Trying to get maizie out is a pain she will not go!!!! if its raining!!!! But little Hattie runs down the garden for her wee! While maizie is still standing at the door!!! Looking at me as if to say!!! NO WAY!!!!!!! MUM lol lol im not going out there!!!:)
TINKER!!!!!!! |
I wish mine was the type to dislike the rain ("No, it's potty time... not rolling around in the grass time.")-- as it is, I'm usually the one wishing he'd stayed inside during inclement weather. |
I take the golf umbrella out back for the prissy dogs.
But they also get their boots put on, which is more for my benefit than theirs. Three large, hairys can bring in a large amount of water. |
