Higgins, was the FIRST OES to win our National Specialty, The Top 20 and Best of Breed at Westminster. He has fathered many BIS dogs as well. I feel fortunate to have my Duncan, who was Higgins' very first 'child' ever and we are hopeful that this line has been perpetuated from this wonderful dog still. For anyone that ever had any contact with Higgins, you would remember what a special boy he was. Sleep tight Higgy. You are going to be very missed. |

Awee... I'm so sorry! *big hugs* ...glad there's a lot of good things to remember Higgin's by. |
He sounded like a wonderful dog. Any pictures of him? |
i will try to scan some in of him.....................all of my links have disappeared.......... |
Higgins was a great dog, and produced fantastic kids, grandkids and great grandkids. I'm proud to own two of them. Aside from fabulous conformation, I think the single most important thing he passed on is a wonderful temperment that is exhibited by every one of his decsendants that I've met.
If you just google his name you'll find lots of photos of this magnificent boy. |
So sorry for the loss of Higgins...
