I'm backkkkkkkkkkkkkk....
We had a great time! I have lots of fun pics to post, but haven't had time yet. I walked into my office this am, only to find 2 cardboard boxes filled with work. Ugh...I wanna be back on the beach!!!! While we were gone, first Lizzie had diaherra, then Keira. Now, this morning, Pirate has it. I'm thinking they are passing a bug. Also...while we were gone, Keira broke one of her front teeth! I can't imagine what she did. We did go see Robert. It was very cool and spooky at the same time. The woman at the museum told us before we took his picture, we had to ask his permission. She said if the first picture doesn't come out, "DON'T EVEN TRY TO TAKE A SECOND ONE. JUST WALK AWAY!" Well, he let us take several. After I get through this pile of paperwork waiting for me, I'll write more. Oh, and I think it will take me days to get through all of the new messages on the forum! Pirate's baby is just named Robert. He's a regular dog toy that looks like a fleece gingerbread boy. Tony, however, has a reproduction of Robert. Its a stuffed Robert and about 20 inches tall, so when we saw the real Robert (who is about 4 feet tall) it was totally freaking! |

That is totally creepy. I'm thinking Mr. Marbles from Seinfeld (bad chicken, mess you up!). And the British movie "Dead of Night" which involves a ventriloquist and his doll. I won't ruin the movie if anyone wants to see it. Suffice it to say I don't watch it at night! |

| Michelina, I think he is going to be there. The woman at the museum said something about Robert going to be studied at a paranormal center, but I thought she said Tampa. She said, Robert is not happy about it. Everyday her cashregister rings up receipts for $777.77, over and over. She said she has to void them. Robert is angry about leaving in July (7th month). Apparently, he does not like to travel. When they brought him from his home (the Artist's House in Key West) to the museum, even though it was only a 2 mile car ride, the car broke down once, and then had a flat tire. She said the ride to Tampa should be very interesting. Yes, you do have to introduce yourself and ask permission to take his picture. If he doesn't like you (and he often doesn't like people) and you take his picture, the picture will not come out, or he will drain the battery from your digital camera, or expose (and ruin) all the film in your regular camera. I was flattered we got about 6 good pics of him. Please let me know if you go see him, and give him my best! |

| We love Florida. Each May we go to Key West. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! As you can tell by my face...I was leary of the parrots! I was afraid it would bite me or even land on me! They are larger than I had imagined! |
| Ever since I was little I've been a little nervous around Macaws. One landed on my shoulder at a wild bird sanctuary (ironically in FL). Once it landed on my shoulder, it sqawked(sp?) and then decided to bite my ear. And the claws/talons are pretty damn sharp too. I love all animals but they make me nervous...
It's beautiful this time of year down here in FL. It's starting to get REAL humid and REAL hot again though.....July is the worst month to visit Florida. I'm glad you had a great time on vaycay. I still feel like I'm on vacation and it's been 3 years just about. Michelina~ |
