| Judging from the old man's orange spots, he has a few ouchies that need licking. We could also call this dog "Timex" he just keeps ticking. Amazing boy! What a wonder to share so much time with this guy. Happy Birthday Remo |
| I know and in some of his pics he does look a little pitiful. He drools and licks his legs which has discolored them. This is a faily recent thing though. My last sheepdog O.D. I had put down in 2001 was 17 years old and he had the discoloring really bad. Remo is starting to get it around his eyes now. But it's a long way from his heart. I'll live with the orange as long as I can live with him. |

Welcome to the forum from Marianne, Ole Blue, Panda and Merlin from Canada! I loved your photos but this one was my favorite and I hope you don't mind I took the liberty and posted it here. Remo the birthday boy! 
My previous Shaggy girl was 15 and she too was full of bumps, lumps and despite her looks she was always beautiful to me. I smiled when I read your last line as there's nothing like the love of an old dog. Ole Blue is a Blue Heeler/Lab and turned 19 in Jan, while Panda and Merlin are my OES boys. Blue previously lived with Shaggy and now the two boys so he's a honoray sheepie. Anyhow I'm rambling but your post made me smile..Happy Belated B-day to Remo from me and the boys. The boys are sending him sloppy kisses. Marianne |

| Thank you all, and Marianne I appreciate your post. One of the reasons I joined the list is because not everyone appreciates your love of your pets. I knew the people here would feel the same way I do and not say insinsitive things like "it's just a dog". Plus I'm just really proud of my "kids". |
