Sound like mine. They'd pee on the porch but they know it's not allowed, so they hold and hold. |
Oliver the very same..
Will not step out that door if its raining would rather hold on If it has been raining and he really needs to go, then he will pee on the path then right back in that door.. If we are out he will avoid puddles, and any kind of water.... |

Oh I have one of those!!! |
Phoebe does not like to get wet either. My husband walks her nearly every day and he got her a rain coat (it does not have a hood). But even with it on, she does like to go off the steps. It rained ALL day the other day. Finally, I went out with her and held an umbrella over her so she would go.

Are you sure you have not got my Brie over there?
Heck she can hold on forever, have to put booties on her and take the brollie out if I have any chance of her pottying in that wet icky stuff. Yesterday we had drizzly rain non-stop all day, she held on and finally had a pee in the afternoon, no more anything after that. Woke up this morning and still raining, so on with the booties for her, brollie and lead and finally pee and poo. WOW wish I had that controll too and wished she passed that trait onto her peeing machine babies. |
Sounds like we all have the same "Princess" dogs. How did they develop this trait coming from a line of herding dogs?? |
HA HA Edgar is a "princess" dog! He has to be drug outside when it is raining and forced to go. Which translates into a 3 second pee and rushing back to the house with a grumpy look on his face. Edgar is also very good at hopping over puddles. What a girlie dog he is. |
Winston won't go out in the rain. And he works very hard to walk around puddles.
Lacy won't have anything to do with the outdoors if there is thunder and lightning. But just plain rain is yippee-doodle-day! Chap apparently doesn't realize the weather changes ever because he runs excitedly no matter what it's like outside. And they both LIVE for mud-puddles. |
I think that george must be unique!!
he doesn't mind the rain, in his eyes rain = water = puddles = splashing around = fun. he could find a puddle in the dessert he just adores water! |
