OES on Minneapolis Craigs List
There is an OES in the pet section on Craigs List for the Minneapolis area. There was one the other day as well, I think it is the same one. I emailed them and let them know about the Midwest OES rescue but got no reply. I hope they find someone to adopt her who knows about OES's. Just thought I would put it up here in case someone in MN can help. I just got our new 8 week old OES and can not take on another one right now. |

They posted her again this morning. They spell Old wrong....Olde? I wish they would have replied to my email. In one of their posts they called her Anna and it reminded me of a young girl OES named Anna that was posted on Petfinder in MN not too long ago. It makes me wonder if that is her and the new people who adopted her are getting rid of her already. It's bugging me.....I guess that's why I am talking about it on here  |

| I contacted the person who own the dog and got the following email reply, It looks like they parting with her reluctantly and sound quite responsible.
"yes our oes is spayed... her name is anna.. she is a pure breed but she is on the smaller side... she weighs 50 pds. we keep her in a very short cut, so she doesn't bring in as many twigs and sand.. she isn't allowed on the furniture but she sleeps with my daughter in her bed. we are looking to get 200 for her the reason we are rehoming her is because our job situation has changed and she is at home to long during the day. she is an inside dog would you be keeping her inside... most of the time." |

Hi, I tried to reply to your email several time with no luck, so here is what I wrote: I never heard or read any more about the OES from Craigslist I'm afraid. I did get a foster OES last week that I plan to adopt, she came from Minnesota OES rescue, and I see they have another three new OES on their list. You can find it at petfinder.org and searching the OES breed, it will list all available dogs. good luck, Peter. |
