Hot dog wheres the hot dog??

Today was a very long day at work. I only had about 15 minutes to run home walk the dogs, eat and get back to work before patients started coming for the afternoon. Well, we have nothing to eat in the house so I dug in the refridg. and found one hot dog. I put it in a pan to pan fry it. Turned on the burner and fixed a drink. I turned the hotdog and went to the bathroom. I went back to the kitchen to turn the hotdog and looked down and it was GONE! I didn't even hear her jump up on the counter or anything. I know it was Lucy because she is so quite. To be 70 lbs I swear she can tip toe. She jumped up on the counter (with her front paws) and grabbed that hotdog out of the fry pan and swallowed it before I came back. She was just laying on the ground looking at me like miss innocent. That little stinker!! I can't believe she did it with out making a sound!!

I'm so glad your dog didn't tip over the pan and get burnt! Smart dog to be able to lean over the stove and carefully grab the hotdog!!! Well, he probably thought he was doing you a favor and helping himself instead of waiting for you to give him what he thought was a treat.

Your Lucy sounds like Annabelle. I think Lucy must have PM'd Annabelle about how to tip toe, because Annabelle can do the same thing. She will only counter surf when we were making food for the kittens, and if we didn't stay right there with it, then it was gone when you got back and her white beard would be stained from the mixture.....LOL
