I don't see a problem with him visiting you - if you don't mind the company!
Their coats are waterproof to an extent - but you want to make sure he's not spending too much time out in the cold if he's still wet - but if it's just his feet / face - it'll dry in no time! His skin shouldn't dry out unless you are shampooing him alot - water alone won't hurt him. He sounds like he loves the water - he'll be a lot of fun swimming in the nice weather - in a lake or ocean (or pool) if you have the opportunity. If you have a pool - you will need to be careful and make sure he's trained how to get out. |
Yep, some OES even love a mucky pond!
Shake baby shake!!! |
Ha ha! Willow I love your pictures, as always! Adorable! |
When we go for a walk in the fields, Blue Star always finds every puddle. They seem to love the water dispite the temperature. Always have a towel handy. |
Willowsprite!
Funny!! I am always afraid of a snapping turtle getting my dog. They're notorious for biting where I'm at, yet I still see many people letting their dog jump in the pond. Then again, I don't think some owners "let" their dog rather than their dog just ran right in. |
That picute is too cute. Is there a towel big enough to dry that poochie off? Note to self, "keep really big towel in trunk for Ollie". Yet another point my toddler and my sheepie agree on, showers, puddles, rain, it's a fiesta waiting to happen for them. I'll have to watch them around the creek come summer. |
