Maybe try putting a box of some sort, or a block of concrete over the wet spot. When she is dirty you can just let her dry off and then brush out the dirt. |
run a length of copper piping to a proper service drain - no more puddle |
mine love the puddles every single one of them. I lock the back mud room clean feet and in house, they are just learning this again. |
I found this Pet Yard puppy playpen comes in handy-
http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.html ... b0d0204ae5 The sections come apart and you can also bend it at the hinges so you can use just a small section if needed... maybe 3 pieces shaped into a U to put under the air conditioner. It's plastic so it can stay outside. We've had it up since last fall because Kaytee was getting too close to the basement entrance- http://oesusa.com/index.88.jpg . I transplanted some clumps of ornamental grass so hopefully the fence can soon be removed. |
I can't believe this myself .....but I have found taking Daisy way..upstairs to clean her undercarriage is way easier than stressing over muddy paws. I'm LAZY but this to me is easier. A damp paw is nicer than a muddy paw. Just a rinse no shampoo. I do that (shampoo) about 4-5 times a year. I also brush alot!! |
Twice a week is too much. A lot of dirt will brush out when dry, and you can spot clean touch areas. I only bathe Tasker a few times a year. |
