I just put them in the oven. Now just wait for 3 hours-ish. I'll try to take a pic (my memory isn't what it used to be ) so those who have never had them can see what I've done. I browned the ribs first. Now they are braising in red wine and beef stock with chopped onion, celery, carrot, garlic and a couple of bay leaves. |

Sounds delish. I bet they could be made in a CrockPot too. Give us a review after you've had dinner! |
<waits for the pic> Yum!! Sounds like it turned out very delish!
I actually made it twice (different recipes) in the crockpot the past few weeks b/c mr. j requested it!! |
How'd they turn out? I'm salivating over here. |
I had so many people here I didn't get a picture. But WOW they were delish!!! I agree the crock pot would have worked great too. I also made mashed potatoes with a little dijon and horshradish in them. They were the wonderful. |
Do short ribs have bones, and are they beef or pork? I do country ribs in the crockpot (pork) and they don't have bones. |
Yeah they have bones. They really have alot of fat. I would conder this dish a luxury dish. Very tasy but heavy!!! My friends seem to be more impressed with the mashed potatoes. |
