Meet Barney
As a relatively new member, I just completed a most delightful week with Barney. What a funfilled bundle of fur.  He's been great, so far responsive to housebreaking in spite of my working. He's still not comfortable with a leash (just 9 wks old). Yesterday we went to PetsMart to find him a ball that wouldn't fit under the furniture. After offering him several, he just went over to the rack and picked one out himself. It's bigger than his head, but he parades all over the house with it. Hope all you new puppy owners are as lucky and patient.

| awww, that sounds just like my Jack, his first ball was got at petsmart and was called a maddog, and was bright green and purple. It was also almost as big as his head. We still have that ball a year and a half later and it still goes with us to the dog park and comes back home. It is still one of his favorite balls!
I am glad you are enjoying Barney. The time flies as they grow. One day this silly little puppy will make you so proud when they go through the milestones of learning through that first year. They stay silly though even after...LOL We can't wait to hear more about Barney and see some pictures.

| They look cute when they are puppies and carry stuff that is larger than them. Lennon discovered tennis balls when he was 8 weeks old and had to drag them because he could not lift them... it was hilarious.
Enjoy your puppy, Stormi is right, they grow really fast! And don;t forget, take (And post!) tons of pictures! |
