And, cool enough for me, one of the main honchos in this group is a well known OES champion, George Hart! |

No, no, no - he's not a well known OES CH (though he has owned some ) - he's a well known OES obedience competitor! I think he and his wife focus more on their Havanese now, but you're darn lucky to have him...as an instructor?? Good for you for going to class. If George can't talk you into trying competitive obed. down the road I don't know who can. Best of luck and have lots of fun. Kristine |
He talked up his competitive success with his OES during the introductions last night. Guess I'm not quite good at distinguishing the various flavors of success yet.
He did do an obedience/agility demostration with his Havanese for us last night. Cute lil' bugger and was pretty impressive, especially with all the hubbub going on around (multiple classes in process in a noisy gym). I talked to him for a bit afterwards. He says he's getting too old to keep up with the OES and reminded me I have my hands full! He's not my assigned instructor, but looks like he's going to be there for questions at class times. Dunno his real position in the organization, but he took charge of the newbie orientation. |
