Let me introduce myself. My name is Laura, Aka:Zuzu. Married, with Children. My Hubbies name is Mike, Kids...kids...kids....Zachary 14, Emily 12, and Curtis 11. Hazel is our Bichon-a-be, a playful 3. We are actively seeking a young female OES rescue. Mike and I have dreamed of having a Sheepdog for 17 years now. We made the decision to wait until our children were grown. Now we are ready. You are in NEOESR's neck of the woods, so have you filled out an online application (and then called) Grannie Annie yet? I wanted a sheepie my whole life, but we waited until we bought our home. That was 16 years ago in April! We got our first dog Jake (His picture is in my Avatar) in 1992, about 6 months after we made application. We applied the same month we moved in! |

Zuzu was the youngest daughter in "It's A Wonderful Life." Jimmy Stewart found petals from her flower in his overcoat pocket. I think Zuzu would be a righteous name for a sheepie. |

You must be from Northern NJ since you pronounce it Joisey. 
We, Southern NJ'ers pronounce it like Jersey...
If you're near Philly, there is a sheepdog picnic on May 17th in Fort Washington, PA. If you're interested, PM me and I'll send you the info... The director of NEOESR will be there too along with a lot of other rescue sheepdog people. |
