| Wow...I thought for sure I'd hear from all of you today!!! I felt so badly for Bob Marley! Jason killed his song! I thought Syesha was very good, as was David Cook. I still am put off by Archie! |

| I was SO glad to see Jason go. He butchered his first song, and forgot the words to his second song! All the while his face was just way out there in la-la land. Still can't figure out what took so long for him to get booted.
I thought Syesha did great!! Randy dissed her second song, but Paula stood and gave her a standing ovation and Simon agreed with Paula. Randy sat there with the weirdest expression on his face - idiot. But yet that same man praised David A like he was the best singer ever. I just don't get it, unless as I theorized before, he has a personal financial stake in David A's future. I truly hope it will be Syesha and David C in the final two, but odds are that it will be the 2 Davids and that David A will win. At which point I will swear off Idol. |
| I really think Jason was relieved to be going home. He looked like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders when he got the news. I think he knew he was just in way over his head at this point. He's just a happy-go-lucky fellow who wanted to have some fun. I don't really think he had any idea he'd ever get this far.
I agree about the Davids. It will be down to the two of them. I still don't get the hype over David A. He's good, just not what they're making him out to be. Do you think it's because overall the contestants were not that great this year?  |
| Tuesday night was terrible. I could tell for the last couple of weeks that Jason wanted out. I am sure he figured he was not going to make the final two so get out while you can. I am sure he was disappointed the last couple of weeks when he didn't get voted out. Tuesday night was pityful for him.
I am sure the two Davids will win. In what order they will come out is anyones guess. If you can believe what Ryan said that each contestant was seperated by only one million votes a piece. Syesha will have a good career in her future. It may finally get interesting when the two Davids start competeing against each other. |

| Last night was a snooze fest. What where the producers thinking when they gave David A that song?
Whoever was handling the sound gets a bad mark also...I had a hard time hearing the judge's comments over the one screaming girl. We'll see what happens tonight. |

| I only caught a few mintues here and there, but did catch one of Syesha's songs in full. I still think she has the best voice and stage presence. All the media is already saying that she's out, the final will be the 2 Davids. Wouldn't it be a hoot if it was one of the Davids who goes tonight? Wish there was a way to vote AGAINST someone! |

| Tonight was fantastic FINALLY!!! David Cook and David A brought their best and finally a great night of entertainment. I am sure David A is going to be the winner....he just had the best night of all. David A also seemed to have the judges on his side, rightfully so, he was the top tonight. David Cook's voice was a little strained, but it gave him that smokey sexy sound. David Cook also brought his full self to tonights performances.
I love it when David A sings Imagine... It will be interesting to see which way it goes tomorrow night. |

| We missed it last night, but weren't all that disappointed to do so. I guess I can catch the highlights tonight IF I watch.

David Cook won!!! I tuned in for the last 10 minutes just to see the travesty happen and was pleasantly surprised! The biggest shock was that Simon apologized to David C for his comments the night before, saying the difference wasn't quite as clear cut as he made it appear. Also said that his comments bordered on disrespect for David C! WOW! In Simon's world, that's HUGE!! Not only did David C win, but he won by 12 MILLION VOTES!!!!!!! Maybe there is hope for the American Idol voter after all - they really DO have a mind of their own! YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| I loved it when Ryan announced that David Cook won...you could tell it took David totally by surprise. I just loved his response. I was already ready for David Cook to win when Simon apologized, it is so not like him. I think that was the firs kint on who won. Anyway, even though I wanted David A to win I am really happy for David C. The final night that they both went up against each other was the best...the rest of the season was pretty boring.
The two hour finally was really not very good and it is really hard watching the top 12 singing together because they really do not sound very good as a group. Anyway, AI is over for another year. |
