I had to share (two legged cuteness)
Alexia's son Josh was in Ryan's class for two years. They are no longer in school together but I'd say Josh is really Ryan's first and only friend. Anyhow Alexia's younger son Jonathan is a year older than Hayley. He is absolutely head over heels for her. The managers of Chuck E. Cheese comes out every now and then and throws free tickets.... and it's basically a free for all. 
Jonathan and Hayley went to get some. When the Manager started throwing them Jonathan took her by the shoulders and look into her eyes and said, "Wait here, it's dangerous! What a gentleman!! He thought they looked so cute. He also likes how Jonathan is very protective of Hayley. So he trusts him.... for now
But he did say, "Yeah, It's cute now, but if he is interested in my daughter down the road he will need to come by and watch me clean my shotgun." 
On Thursday Alexia watched my kids while Billy and I went out to celebrate our Anniversary. It was the first time Hayley and Jonathan played together. He was playing with her hair and she said she wanted a ponytail (he has a little sister, so he knows how from watching his Mom). So Jonathan told her to sit down and he put her hair in a ponytail. She was so happy that he "gave her" a ponytail. It was like a gift to her. She is so funny. Oh yeah and Miss Princess was demanding that he make the swing that they were on together go higher. (She doesn't understand how to make that swing move.) She started yelling at me to push them higher. I explained that Jonathan was pushing the swing. I then went inside to get dinner ready. He must have been meeting her demands since she was smiling and happy.
Earlier in the day when they went swimming Hayley made me take off her water wings and put on her life jacket, because Jonathan had a life jacket. |

| Aw, they are so cute together.
My friend Mary's daughter Katie, and my son Travis were great friends growing up. They went to different schools, but always had a great time when they got to play. Friends teased them about BF/GF as they got older - but they just laughed. They just were friends, and valued it. They missed all the controversy of cliches and bad boyfriends/girlfriends. Maybe Hayley and Jonathon can have the same.  |
