I won!!
I was in the new Grocery Store around the corner and I won a free bag of groceries with two bouquets of Carnations. One for me and one for Hayley. 
They have been having this Grand Opening Celebration since Wednesday. They were doing this the other day too, but of course not while I was in line. A guy calls about a checkstand # and you win if you are there. I was only buying two items, but I won. The bag of groceries wasn't that special... but it was still fun winning something. And the groceries did come in a reuseable earth friendly bag. |

| Joan was in Dunkin' Donuts the other day and they gave her a scratch ticket. She scratched it and then started jumping up and down and yelling "I won a motorhome! I won a motorhome!"
The manager comes around the counter and says: "Ma'am, the biggest prize we have is a free personal pizza," but Joan keeps yelling: "I won a motorhome!" So I take a look at the ticket and it says: "Win a bagel."

Winning is always awesome. It doesn't even matter what you win! Groceries are always good, too. I wouldn't mind a free bag of groceries, especially is it was all ice cream, Double Stuff Oreos and Super Pretzels (my three main diet staples, lol).  |

The bag of groceries included two large bottles of Stater Brothers Fruit Motion Lemonades, One bottle of hand sanitizer, a box of Freezer bags, a large bottled water. a Box of Onion and Garlic flavored crackers, two boxes of organic Spaghetti and coupons for 3 packages of beef franks or Bologna. Not bad!!

I was a bit upset as it wasn't set up like either of the other two Stater Brother's in the area, so it made it tough to find stuff. But I don't care now.... I'll learn where everything is eventually. After we left Chuck E Cheese on Saturday night we were outside talking and I looked down and found receipts for 200 points. I ran back inside and got my friend's daughter, Josalyn, the same bracelet that Hayley got with her points. Josalyn had given Hayley the hair tye that she won. I really need to get to the store an buy a lottery ticket!!! |

I guess I had a mini lucky streak my senior year of college. I won Jimmy Buffett tickets on the radio, and then later I went with some friends to an ACE hardware store for something for them to get and I entered a contest just because I was bored and won a DeWalt drill! I don't think I've won anything since then... |
| Last year was my big winning year. Of course, I won the NY trip. That was great. Then, at Christmas, Tony always buys me one of each kind of scratch off lottery card. There were a bunch! I saved the big $20 one for last. I went through all the others, and won a few free cards, and I think a couple $2 winners. Then I did the big card. Each part I scratched off was a winner! $20 here, $10 there, $50 next! I started laughing because I figured it was one of those joke lottery cards. I was just giggling all the place! When I was done with it, I had won $400! Tony came into the kitchen and asked why I was laughing. I told him the "joke" lottery card was really funny. He looked at me like:  and told me it was real and not a joke!!! I ALMOST PASSED OUT!We took it to the gas station where he bought it to cash it in, and they didn't have enough $$ to cash it, so we took it to our regular grocery store. Everyone was soooo excited for me!!!! Yep...it was a lucky year! |
